For a while now, I’ve been wanting to set up a blog with Wordpress. Wordpress is the free site management utility I worked with at the School of Journalism, and it lets you do quite a bit. I’ve finally gotten around to setting up a blog with Wordpress, and well – here it is.
“Emiror” is a Latin word which means “to wonder at exceedingly.” I chose this for my domain because there are simply so many amazing things in life and creation that we so rarely stop to appreciate them. With this blog, I hope to share primarily photos and stories, and maybe the occasional nonsense or news-related story (okay, who am I kidding? It will probably be a lot of nonsense).
If no one reads this, no big deal. Then it’s just a chance for me to be creative and practice my photography and web skills. There’s a few things not quite done yet – some of the links and widgets in the right-hand bar haven’t been put in yet – but I’ll finish those up soon.
